Our Story
Founded in 2000 by Directors Robert and Richard, Direct Floor Systems has built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality contract flooring solutions across the UK.
Both directors began their careers as flooring installers, gaining hands-on experience before progressing through estimating, contract management and senior leadership roles. This practical background gives them an in-depth understanding of every stage of a flooring project, from specification and planning through to installation and completion.
With over 30 years of industry experience, Robert and Richard remain actively involved in the business, ensuring every project is delivered to the highest standards of quality, professionalism and customer service. Their extensive knowledge and commitment to excellence give clients the confidence that every flooring project will be completed efficiently, safely and to the highest possible standard.
Many of our operatives have been part of the Direct Floor Systems team for many years, with some having been with the company since its early days. Their experience, expertise and commitment to quality ensure that every project is completed to the highest standard.
Our head office is based in the Midlands, with our core team of highly skilled flooring operatives providing daily coverage across a radius of approximately 120 miles. To ensure a truly nationwide service, we also have dedicated installation teams based in London and the South East, the South West, and Scotland.
From our Derbyshire base, we proudly deliver contract flooring solutions throughout the UK, offering a reliable, responsive service wherever our clients need us.
